Initially skeptical, but now a huge fan!,
So, I have to say I was really skeptical about this product. First of all, there were no customer reviews. Second of all – activated carbon? Similar to the stuff in my Brita filters? How is that going to clean up my fridge odors?
So, that being said, I recieved the package, and put one on my bottom shelf, and one on the top of my fridge (you get two boxes both with two pouches of the carbon stuff). I could still smell the pungency of whatever my refrigerator had persisted as the after effects of foods long gone, so, with trepidation, I closed my fridge door.
The next day, I opened my fridge – and to my surprise, I couldn’t smell anything at all! I even stuck my head in and took a really strong smell. I even began to suspect that my nose was congested from allergies – even since the first day I moved into my apartment, this fridge had had a funky odor to it. Now, nothing!
I’m completely satisfied with the results of this product, and even now, whenever I open the fridge door, I still take a sniff of quiet astonishment. Who knew such an innocuous-looking thing would be so effective?

This stuff is incredible! We recently purchased a house with a relatively new fridge that had a very strong curry or kimchee (sp?) smell. Tried everything to clean it with nothing helping whatsoever. Within two days the smell went from 10/10 to 0/10. I have no idea how this stuff works but we are very happy new homeowners!
