Avoid altogether – this thing is garbage,
First of all, I’m 5-1″ and this board hits around mid-thigh, and there’s no way to adjust the height. So, ironing is a joke for me, and out of the question for my 5’11″ husband.
Secondly, it is very difficult to open and close — we hang this board on basement stairs and I have to practically dangle off of the stairs in order to open and close it with it’s cheap and difficult to use latch.
Please save your money and pay attention to these reviews, unlike myself!

|Disappointed,
I wanted a space saving board and this is one, but you have to be extremely short to keep from bending over while ironing. I consider myself short = 5′ 4″ and the level does not adjust for comfort. I would not recommend this board.

|didn’t like it,
I got this, but I didn’t like it so I returned it. When on the door, it doesn’t allow you fully open the door because the top parts gets in the way. Also, it didn’t seem sturdy and the board was smaller than a traditional ironing board.
