Works well, but required a shim and takes a while to install.,
This product works well, but I’d recommend 1) taking pictures with your digital camera as you take it apart because the instruction manual does not have great graphics, and 2) have a small shim handy, such as a washer. After I installed this, the door on my dryer would not close properly, so I needed to remove the hinge and add a small shim between the hinge and the door to change the angle of the door slightly. Now it closes perfectly. Sorry, I should have taken some pictures of how I did this. This project took me about and hour, maybe an hour-and-a-half.

|OK dryer door reversal kit,
I bought the dryer door reversal kit used. It was in a sealed bag, accessories and instructions included. It took me about an hour to do the project since you have to completely disassemble and re-assemble the door. I only had trouble putting the door handle area back together. The instructions and illustrations are basic and leave a few questions unanswered. Some screws just turned in their holes, not grabbing anything on the other side even before taking the door all the way apart. I installed the kit and it works fine. The handle part is still off kilter,but the door works fine. On the funny side, I did end up with 2 extra screws–must have been from the inside–and when I picked the door up to install it, another screw fell out. I’m not concerned as I am sure the door is solidly put together and works well.

|does not universally fit whirlpool duet dryers!!,
I am not sure how many different versions of whirlpool duet there are but this kit was not necessary for the conversion of my door. There is another version that was necessary for my model: Whirlpool Duet Dryer Door Reversal Kit 8530070 The inside of my door is sysmetrical, thus allowing to just reverse the hardware around. THen, the only thing needed is the trim on the dryer itself formed in the mirror image, which is the kit I listed above.
